Our Services
As a Core Community Partner of The Advocacy Center's Parent Training & Information Center (PTIC) for the Long Island region, LIAC is committed to providing Long Island families and professionals high quality and accurate information, resources, trainings and support related to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.
We provide the following services:
1. Presentations-Informative lectures for parents and professionals
2. Special Education Support-Information, referral, and individual support services empowering families that are struggling with the special education process
3. Lay Advocacy Training - A multi session training series for parents that want to learn the core competencies in special edcuation advocacy to help themselves and others
